Yesterday December 5, 2013 the world was grieved with the tragic news of the loss of Nelson Mandela. Uniquely Uncut pays tribute and homage to the legendary and Former South African President, Nelson Mandela. Mandela is recognized by the world for his major contribution to ensure freedom and equal rights for African Americans and every walk of life, form South Africa as well as the nation. Mandela could not and would not be stopped. Not even after spending 27 years in prison, isolation could not stop him, break him nor contain him. He fought for what was right until freedom was gained. Mandela became S. Africa's first black President and his leadership and reign will be missed forever. He is a man who took on a white regime in the midst adversity and racism.

Mandela died at 95, and his legacy will live on forever. He lived a great and honorable life and will always be remembered, cherished and loved by all. Remembered for who he was, all he did and the many lives he touched and changed. We have lost a great leader and his actions give us hope that all things are possible and we deserve equality. His sacrifice is commendable! Mandela is remembered as an icon, legend, hero, leader, changed the course of history, compassionate, teacher, strong, extraordinary, inspiring, giant for justice, and not enough words could describe him.

May Nelson Mandela's soul rest in peace. Our prayers go out to Mandela's family and loved ones. To everyone he impacted with his presence. To his supporters and followers in South Africa. To everyone that was changed by his actions. His funeral will take place on Sunday, December 15th.

Mandela is celebrated and honored today from all across the globe. From word leaders, politicians, celebrities, public figures, South Africa to us and so many more. Take a look at what President Obama had to say about the loss of Mandela.
