We are in the Fourth Quarter of the Year and there is still enough time to Win.

Basketball season is approaching and I am excited!!!!!! I am a huge Basketball fan and I make it a point to watch all the games. I just love the intensity and flow of the game from start to finish. I guess it could be both a bad and good thing, because you never know what is going to happen next. It keeps you on your feet and on the edge of your seat. As for me I normally run out of the room LOL or hide so I can't watch what is going to happen. I can admit that when my team of choice (especially the Chicago Bulls) seems to be struggling and the tide has turned, I get extremely nervous. My father always reminds me that it is not over until its over. There is still more time left.

In my eyes time is running out, especially in the last quarter. In my mind there is not much else than can be done. In all actuality there is time left. Just enough for a quick come back even in midst of a deficit. I have seen some major come backs and have been blow away at the process and progress. This is when the game gets really good. What looked like it should have been a loss earlier turns out to be a victory in the end. You can never gage which way the game will go. Sounds a lot like how Life is like.

Life can feel like a struggle, burden or dead weight at times. Situations an feel overwhelming and look like a dead end. Emotions are raging and going wild and high. Everything can feel uncertain and out of control. Life is unpredictable at heart. You can start off the year one way, then take a turn and then end up a completely different way. When it comes to life and successfully living this life, you can't just give up. You can't go by what you see, think or feel. Just when life looks like it is over it can take a turn for best.

As hard is it may seem to believe, it is already October! We are in the final quarter of the year but it is not over yet. If you are like me there is still a lot to be done and you feel like it's not enough time. There are still goals, dreams and plans that you want to see come to fruition and it may appear that time is or has run out. The way you started your year off or the way things have fallen now, doesn't determine how your year will end. You have the choice to either participate and get in the game or you can keep watching the game play out. Why watch like a fan if you are not a fan of what you see? If you are enjoying your view or too content with the season, then you can sit and stay right where you are. It is only over if you allow it to be over.

This year has been the most unpredictable ever. I can not change what has been done and what has happened, but I can choose to finish strong. Choose today to finish the race that you started. Just like you couldn't predict the beginning you can not predict the end. So keep at it because you don't know what is in store for you or how things will turn around. Choose to not give up and use the time that you have to end this year strong. Be ready to GET IN THE GAME!

What choice will you make today? How will your finish up 2013? Share your thoughts!
