Day 13: Redesign Your Day
“You will never “find” time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.”
– Charles Bruxton

After completing my 24hr-Time Adult there is much room for patterns to be modified and changed. I had great insight and was extremely aware of where my time was going. I know exactly how I want my ideal day to be and precisely how it would look. Here goes to redesigning and creating an ideal day with just enough time to do what I love and be productive!

Today’s assignment is to outline a strategy to redesign your day to make more time for
the things truly matter to you. You can present your redesign plan in a simple
paragraph or a bullet point format.

My Ideal Day would look like this……

  • Wake up earlier (5AM-6AM) *No more Snooze game*
  • Schedule time for daily communication with Christ – meditation, prayer, worship, quiet time, study and reading
  • Eat a healthy breakfast in the morning
  • Schedule 30-45 minutes for exercise or just a walk/run around the neighborhood
  • Schedule time to make important phone class and run errands
  • Use your lunch break to eat (outside of the office)
  • Work on business, course curriculum/grading
  • Post on blog
  • Read a book/listen to an inspirational audio message
  • Cut out any and all activities that “kill time”
  • Remove time spent on unproductive phone calls
  • Preparing for the next day. Pack a lunch and setting out clothes.
  • Cook dinner and relax
  • Coffee Shop break
  • Reach out to a friend or family member I have not talked to
  • Me time (phone of Do Not Disturb)
  • Go to bed later earlier yet stay up later/Cut hours of sleep (max 7hrs)

**My goal is to be as productive as possible on my front end so that when I get off work I have free time do indulge in pleasures of my choice. Along with leaving a little wiggle room for the unexpected (both good and bad).**
