Today's focus for MindSet Monday's is:
Commanding your Day by Thinking Positive!
Your mind is more powerful then you think. Your thoughts affect your feelings and your feelings impact your actions. Whoa! That is some influence huh?! It all starts with your mind. We have tons of thoughts that enter our minds daily and it can sometimes seem uncontrollable. The good thing is you DO have the power to control your thoughts. You have the choice this morning and every morning to either think positive or negative. You can block or allow whatever thoughts you want. If something gets in and on your mind that you don't want there, remove it!
Don't let it stay and settle in. Kick it out! Thinking positive allows you to not only take charge of your day, but how you feel and respond to whatever comes your way. A positive mindset instills hope. When things don't go as planned which is very common, you can keep the same positive mindset and not be disappointed. Your thoughts don't control you but you control your thoughts.
Take Paul's advice, “ Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. “ (Philippians 4:8) Choose to be empowered by your thoughts. Meditate and focus your thoughts on all things good and of good report. Invite peace in your life with the power of your thoughts. Allow your mood and actions to be infused with positive, powerful and transforming thoughts!
My Challenge to you!
Make up your mind today that you will start each and every day off with a POSITIVE mindset. Choose to remain positive no matter what. Take control of your thoughts. Think on things that are good. Don't allow anything negative to reside in your mind. The Choice is your's so choose wisely!
Share your thoughts! How will you choose to think positive? What types of thoughts will you think on? As a result how did that change your day?
